Hi it's Keith.
I worked on computer animated films as a Lighting and Compositing Artist for 30 years. For 20 of those years I was fortunate to work on many of Pixar's most loved movies including Wall-E, Up, Inside Out, Toy Story 3, Soul, Luca, and Elemental.
I've spent decades steeped in the skills of observation- how to lead your eye around an image for the best emotional impact. Along the way, when I wasn't staring at a computer monitor in a darkened room, I was using my camera to document life with my family and friends. It turns out I've got a knack for capturing the smallest, sweetest glimpses of life, and I'd like to share my skill with you.
I find quiet, unexpected portraits in the candid crannies. I bear witness to lovely family moments when nobody is thinking about a camera and there's nothing put on- this is you and your loves, food on the face and messy hair and all.
We don't always notice the fleeting era of life we're moving through, but I know that capturing glimpses of it can be powerful... as time rolls on, small moments take on new beauty and fresh poignancy. Let me grab some of these slices of life for you.
I see the little vignettes, these little breaths of your people as they are right now so you can re-discover, with a gasp, what you didn't catch...what you couldn't see along the way.
I'd love to show you some of my work to offer a good feel for my point of view. Since I photograph people (and especially kids) I'm cautious about posting images publicly. Given AI scraping, facial recognition, and data harvesting in our current tech climate, how about you reach out to me directly and I'll send you a password protected link.
